Self Introduction
A Small Step, A Big Purpose
Hi, I’m Daniel Tan, a 15-year-old student from Singapore. From 3 to 22 June 2025, I’ll be hiking Bukit Timah Hill 100 times—climbing over 16,000 meters, nearly twice the height of Everest. This is for those who suffer in silence. Many youths face mental health struggles alone, unheard and unseen. I started “Summit for the Silent” to raise awareness and hope—one summit at a time. All donations will go directly to Samaritans of Singapore (SOS) to support youth mental health. Thank you for supporting this journey.

Do You Know...
Not All Struggles Are Seen. But They’re Very Real
In Singapore, many young people are quietly dealing with stress, anxiety, or depression—often behind smiles and good grades. Whether it’s pressure from school, social expectations, or fear of being judged, they may find it hard to open up. As a result, their struggles often go unnoticed, and their pain unheard.
Resilience Empowered
One Summit at a Time
“One Summit at a Time” is about celebrating progress, no matter how small. Just like every hike leads to a peak, every step forward—emotionally or physically—matters. This campaign is a message to youth: you are strong, you are not alone, and with each step, you’re rising higher.
Together, let’s rise.
Every silent struggle deserves to be heard. Every young person deserves to feel seen, supported, and strong. Your support—whether through a donation, a hike, or a simple share—can help turn quiet pain into powerful healing.
Cultivating Strength
One Hike. Three Messages.
Championing mental health awareness and support for youth, fostering resilience and well-being in Singapore's next generation.
Resilience
The strength to keep going, even when everything feels heavy. It’s not about being perfect—it’s about not giving up.
Courage
The bravery to speak up, ask for help, or simply say, “I’m not okay.” Real courage starts with honesty.
Hope
The belief that things can get better—and that no one has to walk alone. Even a small step forward is a powerful sign of hope.
